Walk with you (Free verse) by moonlightdance
I've walked a million Miles with you Barefoot in the cold Until my feet turned blue And so I'd like a day or two To sit and watch the clouds or whatever else there is to do But walk with you Each day Each day was something new I learned of the skies And the rain And love and tears in my green eyes But I still miss I haven't forgotten the hole That sent me on this trail Through the sun and ice and hail It lies unfilled You're all I can be sure of In my world and yet I have to run away I need to be Free Free to soar like the birds O'er the cliffs and ravines I may fall But I need to find my wings If you don't chase I'll return as before I'll find my way back To be with you some more

Up the ladder: Strangers
