Paid In Full (Ode) by NoSage
What would you think If you were here? Would you even blink? Or maybe shed a tear. Fourty eight years Gone in a flash. And now your greatest fear Is coming true at last. Your children are lost, They will not stand strong You fear you will pay the cost. But that would be wrong. You can't be responsible For the decisions they've made. Their lives have been full, Their father made the grade. So rest now in peace, Leave them to their designs. You have paid up your lease, They will find their way in time.

Hmm, didn't even think of that. Just thinking about him.

This is dreadful, and in very poor taste. "Paid up your lease"? what an awful analogy.

It is true that they will find their way in time. I liked the thought put into this one. I didn't care for their father made the grade. I sounds to cocky. But all in all very interesting thought process.
