wine and water (Free verse) by killingjuliet
how do you feel not knowing what i meant when i said all the things i never said "it looks like there’s something there" she said well there was and maybe i never faced it just because my lips are bruised by the shame and you’re still blank faced looking the same i changed everything except my name and you regressed to try it again and i am miles away and i knew it would end up that way you would never stay but how was i to know which polar was you on the opposite scale you claimed you drew i thought you were something you said something else i never meant to leave you i can say that much but what is the point of writing this out it’s to escape the sad songs my mouth keeps muttering about i think there is something that we missed wine and water, sugar and a kiss something inside me is not the same subconsciously my heart is writing your name.
