I Really Don't Care (Free verse) by MacFrantic
I've listened and I've pondered One word after another Banging at my raw and aching ears Forever the incessant opinions that you reflect upon And you know what? I never care I won't care And many years from now when I lay dying I may remember your prating But I will expire without an ounce of remorse For your plight For your lifestyle And for your kids Because when I do die I hope they don't bother mine with such petty things

Up the ladder: Addicted
Down the ladder: My secret to life
