Homo ex Machina (Free verse) by Numen
There's a song I did not pen But it's mine all the same I've sung it more than the man who did The words were formed for my tongue And you should hear them pour from my lips Just as the muse that inspired said song Bent to kiss the wrong brow Cupid took an arrow into his chubby hand And when he shot it, it went awry And fell into another's breast As you can see or more so hear I took said song to be my own And so it shall be That you shall come into what is mine I'll replace the foolish arrow With a vengeful knife And thus you shall be free from your vow of love If death til you part is how it must be I'll not stall it any more Muse and Cherub make room, Fate will be dethroned too

Up the ladder: two
Down the ladder: Summer Loving
