Just A Thought (Free verse) by thepinkbunnyofdoom
Have I really changed? I mean look at me Here I am doing what I've always done Pouring Heartache from the pen to the page I still smoke I still prefer vodka over beer And much as I scream the otherwise I still wish that you were here lying next to me in my bed Just sleeping on my chest Dreams of the future burning brightly In that star eyed fashion Have I really changed? No... I am who I have always been The Lover... Lost, and Confused Still dreaming, still trying to see your point of view And much as I try... I'm failing Have I really changed? No lovely vision from my slumber I am the same It is you who have changed I am the same Stupid Emotional Boy I am the same Lost Reckless Child of Mayhem and Abandon I am the same Bleeding Heart who picked you up and nursed you back to health I am the same Whether you realize it or not Maybe its just me But perhaps that is a bad thing

Up the ladder: Jealous over a maybe
Down the ladder: Puritans

Very representative. I can relate and am entranced with the approach of this peice. Nicely done, although the repetition may be a bit much. Any how it suffices.
