World Crashes Down (Free verse) by SoulSlippedAway
As you hear a scarred voice from inside You find some courage to run away To the edge of the world of hideous wonders Your world comes crashing down now Tears fall from a dark red sky People disappear into the shadows And your alone standing in the open As your world comes crashing down Sanity becomes a deleted desire Padded rooms filled with empty hope Minds so callous and hateful And Your world crashes down once more Shivering madness screams with anxiety Flashing memories of long ago smiles Last resort to hurtful nothing Your world crashes down silently And your hope for discovery just disappeared

Down the ladder: Oh Well

Nothing important or interesting distinguishes you from anyone else of your age, race, sex and nationality. Go away and do not return.

Do not listen to the winged avenger, he's just bitter, but he's also got the talent to back up his point, so yes, you're dismissed, carry on winged one, next victim please!
