I'm not going to vote on poetry, ever - but I like this one. It's a bit hypographic and you should buy O'Hara.

I don't think haiku should have something to give away. The universe is not to be tricked. Then again, I don't have a real taste for haiku. They're a bit like sushi to me - I'll aways look around for more.

It's a poem about sloth, I think. But there's to much poet in it. Lose the voice, show the scene.

Sorry. I accidently deleted a comment by Dovina. You asked about the third line.
Calaveras is the name for the sweet skulls the mexicans use at the day of the dead. Theyâre made of powder sugar, eggwhite, honey and vanilla. Theyâre painted with bright colors and a persons name is written on them. Theyâre meant to welcome the dead back in the homes of their loved ones.
I hope this explains the image of the empty chairs.
