Thank-you, outside (Free verse) by fevriere

Thank-you, outside For listening For not speaking You showed- Your faces showed Eyes of a milliard caressing greens Skies of blue Blank walls, the frills of frond and tendrils Those hot pinks Each one would tap on the bus window Like ivy branches, with fruitless fingers O you gave Regardless of anything You gave For this My heart grows wordless and wild

"milliard"?

Okay, here's the corny hi-i'm-new-to-poemranker review: I almost wish there was more story. What I get is: thank you, leaves, for listening to that terrible thing that just happened and not talking - more than something like: thank you leaves for listening as I'm talking right now, in this sentence, that I'm speaking, which ends right... here. But then I get no clue what they were listening to. Am I so wrong?
