My daddy taught me about being a good sport (Free verse) by horus8

Upon rounding third base, I noticed that the catcher had picked up home plate and started running away from me with it? "Catch that motherfucker!" Screamed my dad, but the other kid got away. "He is their coach's son." said my dad, later, as we drove by the other team enjoying their rootbeer floats at the A&W. "He has a learning disability called nepotism. "Is that why his batter's helmet covers both of his ears?" I asked.
