September 11, 2001: That Day (Free verse) by blues361

That was the day the world changed Many left hurt, many left dead The world left shocked History different forever That Day While some shattered, some happy Some crying, some celebrating Lots thinking who did this horrific thing Twin Towers gone, Pentagon partly gone That Day Every September 11th will mark that horrible day Remembering all those innocent people lost The U.S. staying strong That Day

You should read this open mic one night in Hiroshima dressed up in a wetsuit with flippers and a bucket of sardines.

"The U.S. staying stong
That Day"

YES! I agree one hundred percent
in fact "staying stong" was the last
thing my japanese baby said to me that fateful day, bleu... May I call you bleu? Thank you, where was I? Ah yes... Right before my little Jung Kao Pao was toasted along with my arms to a slight off brown sausages in an breeze of atomic radioactive scorching poison. Microwaved, if you will. That's why, my friend, I will give you the 10 you've been yearning for. Though it will make you think it's a big fat Zero? Trust me my friend. It's lying. It's a ten and it knows it.
