KANGAROO WITH A DIDGERIDOO (Free verse) by Garrett S Sexton

When the land was but a Billabong. When the sky had barely set. When seas of lava turned cold. Nature caught it's breath. When time wouldn't give time. When most the universe abject, life in the cradle pounced out, and up it leapt! A kangaroo, with a didgeridoo about the way to go. A kangaroo, with a didgeridoo For an answer it needed to know. When upon the planes of no-where forward did he waltz, hopping to find a creature of knowledge and good sorts. At first he met a turtle, but he just shook his head. Then he met a parrot, who just kept repeating what he'd said. Next he met a koala bear who tried to help all he could. After that a butterfly who he never understood. Finally he asked the crocodile, And still he doesn't know, why kangas can't walk backwards!? {oh say it isn't so}
