A Day Like The Last (Free verse) by dragonfly

she can't differentiate night from day all life in her has passed away since paradise was sacrificed a needle drops and disrupts the silence that has become her vice and it's one more day like yesterday one more day like the last one wonders how she'll make it past another day like the last she looks out of the one window which hasn't been shut for some time up at the fingernail clipping in the sky glowing in its artificial light The sun refuses her invitation so she's left in the same dark responsible for the neverending night and the numbness in her heart and it's one more day like yesterday one more day like the last one wonders if she'll make it past another day like the last

"I'm a 20 year old gay college student in San Francisco. Nuff said. = )" I believe that there's never enough to say about that personally.
