Between Now And Then (Free verse) by sliver

Grieve not for my mortal shell Lying far beneath this stone I am no longer there My Lord has taken me home. If you wish to speak to me Just turn your tearful eyes My earthly labours are finished I'm at my Saviors side So keep your gaze on the Heavens Until we meet again And know that I'll be praying for you Between now and then

Shucks, you caught me trying to skip away without addressing the subject. Honestly, I am athiest, so I couldn't really relate. But it is a nice thing to write to your father, and a nice way to talk about grief.
