Pina Colada Belle (Free verse) by Don-Quixote

- My dear seraphic girlie that wore that purple rose dress, do you remember them smoke filled nights? We would laugh, inbetween the clink of pina coloda glasses. You would be yappin like some amphetamine laboratory experiment, and I'd listen to your voice, while trying my best to peer into those brown eyes that you loved to hide behind your long bangs. I can still smell the candles that were hung over the screen door. Vanilla, you loved that aroma... There were not many that could sit there and actually tollerate the endless rant. You might have been talking about pluto, but my ears never paid any attention to the words they would just record the melody of your sonance... We would perch our intoxicated selves on the wooden bench, watching the sun rise. Well, you were always the one gazing at the ascension of earth's mellow yellow star. You never knew that my eyes took photographs of those pulchritudinous hands, holding that white alcoholic slurpee. I love this oil painted memory the most: Your elfin hand revealing those brown scintillant orbs, as you pushed that natural veil back and pinned it neatly behind your ear. ========================================================== I AM PROUD TO BE THE MUSH MASTER, TOKE MY SNAKE!!!

Slightly disappointed DQ (not the poem but the footnote)

Don Quixote would never apologize, too immersed in what he is to be anything but brave.

Sometimes we are what we are, expectant filter be damned. A 0 until you remove the apology. :)
