Demented mystic
with
only a thong
as garment
sings the song
of
a freshly dreamed tune
before a fire.
His descant preaching
of the
holy pen
and
its magical power
(equivalent to the wisdom of zen)
lured a young poet
with its sound.
The poet
unseasoned
asked the sage
how he might master
the pen.
The mystic
chuckled
and
spoke this:
"What good is a pen, if one knows not how to write?"
