selfish (Free verse) by <~>

When I drew a line around what was mine the way you had always done when we were kids-- like when we'd fight over the joystick and play space invaders up past our bedtime with no understanding of the miasma of metaphors we were winding, binding, hiding in our seething ids-- and you, you never would let me win. Once I drew that line, I didn't want any of it, only you.

Dude if your brother used you as a fucktoy this isn't the place to tell the world. It's best to keep these things secret and to ourselves. The shame is yours and yours alone. Liked 3rd stanza best.
