A Great Day For Baseball (Lyric) by darkhelmet10

The birds started chirping, The grass was green; Baseball season was well in way, It was quite a scene. The game started up As the umpire yelled "Play Ball" The players were ready To listen to their coach's call. The game was close, The lead went back and forth, The game slowly progressed, While the wind blew to the north. The last inning ended, The game was still tied, An extra inning began, As the fans cried and cried. The home team was up, A runner on second, I was at the plate, The other coach beckoned. In came the pitch A dewsy it was, I swung with all my might As a good hitter does. The ball started to soar Further and further, It came closer to the fence, It was gone for sure. I ran round the bases, A smile on my face, My team celebrated the victory, With dignity and grace.

It would of worked better if your ball turned into a bomb.
