Two Eagles (Free verse) by Frass

The window washers look in at me swarthy brown skin sweating Aztec twins, conquistador progeny Cool Within I tap Keybored Four floors up they spin Their eyes flashing, obsidian knives They have received little training for such stunts Four centuries from a noble past Extinguished Like eagles with snakes dangling in their grasps The braided cable, glinting, slides past Rattling in ascension towards the sun

The Ancient Atlantian bird snake war 5,000 before the Trojan mixed with a nice slice of a numbing Manhattan office job. I really like this poem.c
