Gravity (Free verse) by RichardH

Gravity I feel like an apple and you feel like Newton, watching my fall, observing gravity, making calculations on the tide, and, at the moment that I, the apple still falling, know that my life is over at the end of this last trajectory, you catch me, and you hold me, and you look at me as if I held an answer to an important question that still needs to be asked. Great poem. And should ye possess the answer to my query, I, unlike Eve, vow not to "bite"...but rather shall simply "breathe deeply".
