sexy (Free verse) by elizabethann

he told me to dye my hair blonde and dress really sexy maybe i'll just shave my head and wear men's clothing sexy isn't my thing but i am beautiful with my scarred arms and not-so-perfect breasts and when i look in the mirror i can smile with my chubby cheeks and thick thighs. sexy just isn't my thing.

i don't think you're really understanding it. i don't feel bad about myself because i'm not his definition of sexy. i don't want to change a damn thing about me. this poem is about me being happy who i am and accepting the fact that i'm not nessecarily "sexy".
