The uranium thing is mighty creepy. Agents of Loki, perhaps?
Both possibilities are valid, there's always the possibilities of third variables. Seriously, though, the poeme is about my frustration at the fact that psychology courses here focus only on the medical and behaviourist perspective. The cat is a representative of the school of thought given as little credit as psychoanalysis: quantum mechanics. that's it. no more symbolism, just dirty limericks and cthulhu from here on in.
