Spring Rolls (Free verse) by Ranger

Spring rolls in, served on the new year's platter Wrapped in a pastry of sunshine and rain Containing a multitude of colours Strands of flowers And biting cold Takes a mouthful To savour the spicy aftertaste Of summer
