That's What It's all about. (Free verse) by madjack2

Tales untold, The days of old, Of heros in the fight, Of a flight in the night, Of adventure and love, Of innocence like that of a newborn dove, Of life and death, Of one's last breath, That's what it's all about. To pillage and plunder, The darkness we're under, Of feeble hope, Of learning to cope, Of the hero's light, Of God's fantastic might, Of journies yet to come, Of where we're from, That's what it's all about.

I don't see a pattern between the two segments. It seems you could just drop the second one (or the first one) -- they don't really add anything to each other. THe title makes me think of a that goofy pre-school song the hokie-pokie, so I actually was expecting something humorous. The repetition of "of" works, but what are you trying to build to? mbonica@yahoo.com
