Solitude (Free verse) by Owner of the Sky

Waterchilde lies lightly resting On moss covered oceanrocks; She can hear Oz as he is calling YellowRed voice deep and warm seeking Like slumber caught between waking And saltseashivering, missing wet embrace. (while fieryflies and their ocean sisters are dancing) On his lonely fire emerald earth throne He licks fingers reverentcarefully Tasting her on every fig devoured, ingested And ultimately intimately anchored To every ember fiber of his being. He got lost on his way to Sanctum Lead astray by seapaths crosscrossing Spreading his heart everywhichway Oh so very thin. As he turns and tosses Oz can hear her softly cajoling Swimming freely within emerald daydreams, Nestled in rain kisses melting While the dewdrops are twilight fading. (The earth is three fourths ocean, she owns you) She falls into cold, redundant Mirror shell contentment With the goddess in a mud dress Navigating cavernous secrets Free from the grappling hooks. Longing barely heavy, but spreading Mist impossible to contain They will find him like feathers floating freetwining Leaving him doomed and drunk On all the sunsets since the birth of time. [ x. swim. away. while. you. are. winning. x.]

Uumm, actually, I've been a member since May last year. The reason why I haven't posted much lately is because I've read the comments left by some of the other members on others' poetry, and they were hardly constructive. The bickering was getting a little too personal and I didn't like it. I hang out at pathetic.org (another poetry site) more.
