Haffner's Mill (Free verse) by powerline

Old buildings do cry their walls forever sulking, in what used to be the center of town Longing, for one more knock at the front door or just one more sale, at the register's feet So where have the builders gone? The ones that poured their hearts and worked their hands, building and building brick by brick And when the largest storm charged from the west they left their souls to die, for years and years inside buildings that cry

Dude, this is seriously good. I have something about a building that has yet to go past scrbbled notes. Thank you for the inspiration.
