Living Conditions (Free verse) by Christof

Dark October days, When it seems the clouds Have sucked the light into their cheeks, Always feel like this: The year's blind slope Towards winter, The burrowing mole In its grope Towards the warm womb Of the earth, The improbability of the sun And our place in it.

Christof 25-Oct-02/7:23 AM
Actually, that is worrying. I don't know whether I believe all that or not. It seems to have been revealed to the media in a very preplanned sort of way, with these other victims suddenly cropping up as if from nowhere. Weird. As for The Archers - haven't heard it for years. But it was always very comforting when I was at college.
