Taffy (Free verse) by knickytoy

We would begin with wishes. Bubbling up, as in boiling sugar; The hot, glossy bubbles of an unformed sweet, beautiful, but looking nothing like salt water taffy, Are pulled, broken, stretched and dulled, So dull they become reality And no one is really happy.

"so dull they become reality." yikes. your reality can't be that dull or you couldn't write any poetry, i'm guessing. this depressed me a little, so it must work. nice. keep it up, or Z will start throwing barbs.
