Work (Free verse) by half.italian

I won't sleep again tonight. This time I watched a movie that reminded me of life It woke me from boredom It screamed at me to quit my job It pointed out that the eight hours I spend every day stroking egos are eight hours I could be sleeping or fucking or golfing I've acted on these thoughts before and each time I ended up similar in the end So I'll spend the rest of the night searching for a loop hole and at eight I'll go to work.

The thing I'll say about the poem is that it reads like a paragraph of prose with semi-arbitrary line breaks.
