Trash (Free verse) by drnick

At night lights shiver They softly glimmer Upon a broken glass One might wonder Who could uncover And mistake this for common trash Some see the beauty Behind this cruelty The shards of something nice Historically were one But now found undone And given a new sort of life

I love this kind of thing - colorful glimmers reflected from a pool of urine, for example. And the cadance is nice here, but with some glitches, at lest to my ear.

Night lights shiver
softly glimmer
Upon a broken glass

just a thought.
