ghost host (Free verse) by elderking

Running witless from the shadows and familiar images of you; hiding breathless, as my heart slows, wondering what I'll ever do you're lurking everyplace I go; you haunt me tirelessly. will I ever finally know how to flee your memory? closing eyes to your reflection, closing ears to siren's song, hasn't severed our connection, our yesterday's proved too strong. so many nights I've spent sleepless, keeping company with your ghost. the dawns are nearly countless when a dead man serves as host.

Punctuation: drop the semicolon, period after "ever do." Otherwise good.
