Old Friends (Free verse) by sliver

A single star Cradled in a crescent moon. Shedding a light More silver than blue. A wedding tomorrow. Will that star still be there? Is it some kind of omen For the love they share. It's funny how I can see it from here, How they come together, In the heavens without fear. I'll be watching tonight To see if they meet again. To cradle like lovers Or kiss like old friends.

I know poetry used to have all first line capitals, but
I feel it lends to the flow if second lines are in
small case.
