Tonight’s Halloween (Free verse) by TLRufener

I wonder what it’s like, To feel that I belong here. It feels as though, I am alone. The sun sometimes, Will burn me. The clouds can’t, Block out the light. When the sun goes down, A dark night comes in. The cold air feels good, As I breathe it in. In the light I’m alone, But the dark night feels like home. As the darkness consumes, The world around me. All the ghosts and witches, The skeletons and vampires. Come out tonight, To be scary and mean. For tonight they can party, Because tonight’s Halloween.

By your diction I would think you're Meat Loaf.
