This or That (Free verse) by sacred_poet_me

A boy would do anything for a girl. Seems so wonderful, like a dream come true, As if he was her Knight in Shining Armour! But in reality, is it the same? Is it real? Will he do the things he promised? Or will he do nothing. He promised: He would stand up, and fight for her, He would comfort her when she is down, He would buy her the most precious jewel, He would gladly take a bullet for her, He would be with her no matter what, He would listen to what she has to say, He would do anything for her, But the real question is: Will he do house cleaning, Wash the dishes, Cook dinner, Take care of the kids when time comes, Will he do any of these? For the rest of his life, For her. So I ask, Will he do this? Or Will he do that?

The core consists actually of two lines:
'Will he go to the end of the world for her?
Will he also do household chores for her?'
No real problem to extend the message, but you could have used a bit more humor, more sarcasm.
The last 4 lines add nothing.
