Glass shatters when it hits the wall As do dreams when night starts to fall But glass gets gathered and swept away And dreams do die when we start the day In fall colored leaves fill every tree As tears do eyes until we can't see But when winter comes those trees become bare And tears will fall until nothings left there The blue ocean as calm as can be As we walk through life so peacefully But when boats pass the waves become rough And soon life's situations get tough The sun rises so high in the sky As do hopes when we think we can fly But eventually the sun will go down And when we jump, we hit the hard ground Up in the sky birds fly and soar As do hearts when they find love so pure But without strong wings birds can't fly high And hearts get crushed when we say goodbye
