Enrapture (Free verse) by fevriere

Arch, arabesque; the painful points of reach and touch Burn lines through the mind. You mine of beauty, you; I have fallen in, given the grace of Grace.

well, it has many allusions for me. Were you aware of the double meaning of your own pome? because an arabesque in ballet often accompanies a long beat, and the transition to/from another form involves arching/flattening the arch of the foot, accompanied by a grace note. So every main word in the pome has a double meaning -- two parallel images, complementing each other. Sent chills down my spine. Painful points -- also fits both the dance metaphor and the meaning of arabesque arch as an arch decorated with an angular motif of stylized leaves & vines.
