Point Blank (Prose Poem) by jroday

It's Christmas time now, so should we sing songs of peace on earth just because that's what we were taught? Was the commercialization of Jesus's birth at the heart of all those wars this nation fought? How many jobs will be lost on New Years Day? Well that's just some food for thought. What's going on in the killing field brother John? Why is it legal to poison the youth's minds with the simple ass materialism being spit in many rap songs? Could It be the world has lost It's way? Could It be the decimation of right is at hand? This nation stands by all that is wrong. The war in Iraqi is not about oil, It's about the Holy Koran. Black people think Jesus was black and White people think that Jesus was white; look at the paintings. But if he returns as a Hebrew, He's going to be harassed if he tries to get on any U.S. bond flight. WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA HAVE BEEN FIGHTING A WAR IN OUR COUNTRY FOR YEARS AND YEARS AND ITS NOT BLACK AND WHITE. IT'S DRUGS,POVERTY,GANGES,TRYING TO SAVE OUR CHILDREN. To answer your first question: I did. I sang them because I was taught, and I still think my parents were right to teach them. They said their world was going to the dogs, and it wasn't near as bad as mine in regard to the moral issues they and you are complaining about. Still I sing Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men, because it's right and they were right and you are right if you don't lose faith. UNTIL THEN.
