To Find Peace (Free verse) by travelingsk8er

I walk through life, I carry my soul, It's heavy and dragging it, takes its toll. I want to be free from the pain I see, Want to open the door with a golden key. To a city of light I open the door, The pain my soul brings me is there no more. Walk through the threshehold, step onto the gold, My body lost feeling, its dark and cold. A man called my name, He was there in the light, Walking forward, steadily, sheilding the bright. He offered his hand, He was so holy and just, I knealt to the ground and kissed the dust. I took his hand, my mind soared as the dove, He told me my soul needed to be only loved.
