Ghost (Free verse) by Caducus

Emptiness has become my communion. Love just a word once said, my empty life filled with confusion from a life I lived so long dead. I can never be seen for who and what I am or what I could have been, A child within a man. A Son to a Father who died, Bastard to a God denied lover of ghosts inside, And truth teller of cotton dweller Who said she loved me but lied. I am going home, back to sleep with stapled eyes. I am going alone, but do not weep I will visit you in sleep in beautiful dreams As a child I’ll rise.

The end fell apart for me, but the beginning was really good stuff.
