Fear (Free verse) by Phalkon

i lay awake in bed my heart is pounding painfully a million thoughts run through my head my fears begin to forte i then begin to sweat the second hand ticks slowly and i am without rest the noise outside my door taps most menacingly i now begin to wonder if i'll see the light of day the door creaks open slowly a beam lights up my room a fear i've never known before enters through the door my teeth begin to chatter uncontrollably now only do i realize fear has control of me!
