The Unseen (Free verse) by cuddlytiger17

You’re killing me Killing me inside But you can’t see it Because you’re blind You’re tearing me to pieces Tearing apart my soul But you can’t see it Your hearts too cold So I abide here All alone in my room Contemplating ways that I Could end this doom Ways to disengage This pain I’m feeling Sharp razor blades Are my way of dealing But this you'll never recognize Because all that you can see Are ways to please yourself As I carry on the unseen.

Okay, look, I'm sorry for making fun of you in the past, and I've really not been trying to do that here. I do have some idea what it's like living in an abusive parental (or foster parental) situation, but cutting is a supremely awful way of dealing with it. And even if there is a real psychological disorder that compels people to mutilate their bodies, I can assure you that you don't have it. In fact, I don't think you really are a cutter (none of the people who've claimed to be on this site in the past have really been,) but whether you are or not it's a serious, crazy thing to be bandying around in this fashion. Buck up, kid. You'll be 18 and away from that house in no time - even though at this point I'm absolutely sure it feels like forever.
