Domingos (Lyric) by candaliesa

It's been a year to the day. That you said goodbye and went Gods way. You left behind many broken hearts. With you gone it was hard to restart. I remember the good times that we had. Yet the memories seem to make me sad. I love you so much, my uncle, my dear. If only once more we could have you here. Telling us to be strong, not to cry. "I'll be okay, I promise, no lie". Saying you "love us to no end". We may not share your blood, but we are kin. We shouldn't mourn the day you past! We should remember the times you made us laugh!!! ---cmp--- 8/28/03

I should go stand in the corner now?

No. Seriously (and in the stretched sense of the word "seriously") Dryden, Pope, and Poe and the rest of the good olde boyes did well. However they were actually good poets. The author of this is a good poet if and only if it is also true that a gigantic cicada just sucked my brains out and ejected them as fecal excrement into the bow'ls of outer space.
