Relizing Death (Free verse) by SoulSlippedAway

She's discovered this truth that beckons Never wanting to believe it before Now realizing she's not breathing Her body falls to the floor She wakes up to nothing but black But a mirror stands in her way She looks at her hurt reflection And sees her soul float away Instead of screaming her voice is caught She panics in threatening light The girl runs and goes hide She can't even stand her own sight This can't be happening she thinks And trys to make herself bleed Confusing virtues get in her way No blood drips for her to succeed Now she sees what she used to have She can't go back ever now she closes her eyes and sleeps Wishing she could cry somehow

i just have to say, i love your write-up. something sadly humble about it. anyhow, this would make a better song than a poem (while, even as a poem it's better than most of the scatalogical horseshit floating in this idiotic cesspool). put it to music and send it to Eddie Vedder or Creed as they can't write lyrics to save their lives.
