Daddy's Little Girl (Free verse) by daveslady

I know I haven't said it lately, and I don't say it enough, But Thank You for all you have done. You love me even when I'm bad Keep me from harm whenever possible You're that little voice inside telling me what to do and where to go You make me feel warm and safe inside Loved like an only child You love me so much that you have created this magnificent place for me to live Just for me to enjoy and to remember how much you care about me Everything is as beautiful as you could have created it, you gave me my senses to enjoy your offering. Thank you for taking care of my mother and my daughter, and for the idea of being able to see them again one day. There are no words to describe how awesome you are The fact that you have never walked away from me no matter how hard I try to pull away. There you are right beside me, arms open wide begging just to hold me. I love you with my life, which is really all I have to give. Thank you for being my Dad, and I hope to make you proud with the things I do and say. I will try my best, but please remember that I am only human and will mess up often I can't wait for the day that you and I are reunited and I can come live with you forever. You are my loving Father... and I thank you for that

good ? from poetandknowit. I'm often called dave's woman by him and his friends when I call or go to his house. So, when i signed up to this website it was an easy title for me to use. The simplest one that came to mind first. I, however, know that I am not property and refuse to be treated as such. This tile is more of a joke among friends rather than a tile. But thank you for your concern and if i knew of a way to change my name without loosing the scores and comments I may have very well thought about doing so.
