No, art needs pruning back a bit for it to properly flourish. And what leads to violence in teens is not ridicule, it is the environment.

Smacking children teaches that violence is acceptable to get your own way.

Video games, endless runs of wars providing an environment where the parts of the brain involved in processing violence are always activated.

Long distance weaponry, if you had to get close to someone to hurt them the natural human emotions of empathy would kick in.

How an individual reacts to riducule is conditioned by such factors
