my only issue with that is that then what's posted would not match with what was emailed to the author. and you could go in and edit things to make people who replied to you look like they were saying other things. so there, I'd say... if it's important, delete the comment and post it again with the typos fixed, or whatnot. or I am open to other thoughts on the subject, really, but...
