I would like the option, a persistent check-box or something, where after I comment or vote I can be taken back to the "recent" list, and not the same poem[e].

Hmm. Other possible nifty ideas... automatically going to the 'next oldest', 'next youngest', 'random', 'recent', 'best', 'worst'...? a bunch of radio buttons? or actually remembering where you came from?
