Has poemranker been offline for the last day or so, or is it just my net connection?

Nope, nope, it's been offline. About 22 hours--I took two breaks from working on it, one to go teach and one to nap while 2.1 gigs were transferring... It was a slippery, stinky, scratchy path through hell.
I won't worry about the state of my internet then ;-) I did notice that nothing had happened in the intervening time so I guessed it was probably your end of the line. Hope it hasn't affected anything more important :-s
Nothing permanent, just a blip of further insanity.
A glitch in tomcat made me restart it--but it didn't come back up. So I restarted the server--and it didn't come back up, either. ... No hardware problems, though. Just an accidental upgrade that I tried to roll back, which once "fixed" rolled into another upgrade that I _did_ manage to roll back.
It's good to know our lives are safely in your hands.
