Hey the site is going well. I think you should focus on getting the community buzzing a bit more. They seem to like to interact as the comments to poems suggests. I'd like to see two things:
1. A way of tracking a particular poet i.e. send an email when they add a new poem.
2. Turn the poets personal page into more of a home page with a list of all their poems as the focus and perhaps the last 5-10 they have submitted shown in full. Move all their statistics, which aren't really that interesting, to another page or a side bar. Basically give the users a stake in the site so they are encouraged to come back and put more into it.

I've slowly been leaning to do #1. Not sure about #2--the last 5-10 in full could be a lot of information, or a little information, depending. and it's hard to even say the first n lines or the first y characters, some, because folks will put everything on a line.
