I Can't Have You (This Has To Be Over) (Free verse) by JohnnyRocker
I remember when I'd lie here with you on this creme leather sofa so soft to my back so soft were your hands and I'd stare in your eyes as your cheek pressed on mine but I'd hold back my kiss My heart was screaming inside and wondering why I couldn't just have you Now I can understand that it wasn't His plan for me to have you. My lips longed to lock onto yours but I'm glad that I held it all back cause I don't want to waste it on something unsure and that's not to say you mean nothing but you know that it wasn't forever and you don't want me wasting it either so I'm sorry to say that this has to be over. Reality's sobering but still I am wondering why this all seemed so real. I'd hate to believe I was caught in a feeling so I'm sorry to say that this has to be over; this has to be over.
